The Intermediate Body for the Promotion of the Information Society (OIPSI), as part of the National Authority for Digitalization (ADR), serves as the National Coordination Centre of Romania (NCC-RO) within the NCC Network.

NCC-RO is part of a new European management framework consisting of the European Competence Centre in the field of cybersecurity (ECCC, headquartered in Bucharest) and a network of 27 national coordination centers - one in each EU Member State.

Currently, the National Coordination Center operates within the Intermediate Body for the Promotion of the Information Society (OIPSI), a structure under the Authority for the Digitization of Romania (ADR).

The Intermediate Body for the Promotion of the Information Society (OIPSI), as part of the National Authority for Digitalization (ADR), serves as the National Coordination Centre of Romania (NCC-RO) within the NCC Network. This network was established in line with European Regulation (EU) 2021/887 of May 20, 2021, which also established the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
