Around 80 students visited the ECCC premises, met and engaged with the ECCC staff, learning about the Centre, the cybersecurity landscape and the European funding opportunities.
As future IT professionals, they offered their views on the current cybersecurity risks and challenges, and reflected on possible solutions. The students shared their ideas on specific actions and areas that they would give priority to if they were responsible for the cybersecurity of an organization. They also stressed the importance of training, education and awareness raising, not only for cybersecurity experts, but also for the general public.
We thank the Politehnica students for their active participation and enriching discussion! We hope to see as many of their bright ideas become reality, for a safer and more cyber resilient Europe.
