The event opened with the introductory messages of Ramona Chiriac, Head of the European Commission Representation to Romania and Liviu Nicolescu, Secretary of State in the Romanian Government and Head of NCC-Romania, and was followed by the presentation of the ECCC Executive Director Luca Tagliaretti.

The DEP call covers areas of actions for deployment activities supporting novel application of AI and other enabling technologies for Security Operation Centres, the implementation of cybersecurity EU legislation such as the Cyber Resilience Act, and the European transition to post-quantum cryptography. The presentation was followed by an intervention of Felicia Cutas, Programme Officer at the ECCC, who shared “tips & tricks” on how to write a project proposal.
