Strengthening the NCC Network: Informal Nordics - Czech NCC Meeting in Prague

Held at the Congress Centre of the Czech National Bank, the informal meeting brought together experts, government representatives, and private sector stakeholders from 46 countries. This year’s edition, held under the theme Invisible Frontlines, addressed hybrid operations, post-quantum cryptography, AI security, and emerging vectors of cyber conflict that increasingly shape national security and global stability.

While attending the PCSC, representatives of the Czech National Coordination Centre (NCC-CZ) met informally on 18 March with their counterparts from Finland (NCC-FI), Sweden (NCC-SE), and Norway (NCC-NO) to exchange experiences and discuss ongoing projects supported by the Digital Europe Programme. The discussion focused in particular on the coordination of national cybersecurity expert communities and the implementation of Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP) schemes.

Participants shared best practices, explored opportunities for closer cooperation within the NCC Network, and discussed common challenges in establishing and operating the NCCs. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of regular exchange and mutual learning among NCCs to ensure greater alignment and reinforce the impact of national and European cybersecurity efforts.
