The ECCC kicks off its Access-2-Finance Series

To connect promising European cybersecurity start-ups and scale-ups with leading investors and corporates, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) is hosting its first Access-2-Finance Matchmaking event on 9th May in Copenhagen.

First Access-2-Finance Series

The European Cybersecurity Competence Center (ECCC) is organising its first Access-2-Finance Matchmaking event on 9th May in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event, hosted by the Danish National Competence Centre, the Danish Business Authority (ERST), the Danish Agency for Digital Government (DIGEST), CenSec, DigitalLead, Aalborg University, Women4Cyber, and supported by ECCO, will gather the most promising European cybersecurity start-ups and scale-ups to meet with leading investors and corporations from around Europe.

 

The ECCC is kicking off its Access-2-Finance Series with its first matchmaking event in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Danish edition of the ECCC Access-2-Finance series will be organised back-to-back with the V2 Security Conference (10th-11th May 2023) and will take place in person. The V2 Security Conference is free to attend, but registration is required.

At the Access-2-Finance Series, the top European cybersecurity start-ups and SMEs will take the stage and have the unique opportunity to pitch their innovative cybersecurity solutions. This event will strengthen ties between providers and users of cybersecurity solutions and create connections between leading investors and companies, fostering the European Single Digital Market and its cybersecurity community. The ECCC and Danish NCC offer a unique opportunity to attend these two cybersecurity events with leading content, renowned speakers and some of Europe’s most exciting cybersecurity start-ups and scale-ups.

This cybersecurity business matchmaking series is designed to cover different investment phases, ranging from seed funding to strategic investment and M&A. With the Access-2-Finance Series matchmaking events, the ECCC aims to attract private investments within the EU cybersecurity ecosystem, stimulate collaboration within the European Community and secure market opportunities.

The ECCC invites specifically European start-ups and scale-ups to apply and the wider public to attend the pitches & B2B meetings and meet with entrepreneurs and industry leaders. The two best cybersecurity companies participating in the Danish edition of the ECCC Access-2-Finance series will be nominated to compete for the ECSO STARtup Award 2023. Nominees are selected by the local jury and will participate in the final competition, which will be held in early 2024. During the final ceremony, nominees will pitch to the European jury. They will have a unique opportunity to present themselves to high-level investors, corporate executives and cybersecurity experts. For more information, click here.

In addition, celebrating cybersecurity companies founded or co-founded by women or companies with at least 50% female employees, the Women4Cyber STARtup Award honours female-led companies selected by the jury at the ECCC Access-2-Finance events and European Cybersecurity STARtup Award.
