ECCC Access-2-Market, 23 May, Barcelona

On 23 May, in Barcelona, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), powered by project ECCO, is set to host yet another matchmaking event, this time in cooperation with the Spanish National Coordination Centre (NCC-ES), Women4Cyber, the Cybersecurity Agency of Cataluña, and Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA). This edition of the ECCC Access-2-Market Matchmaking Event series, taking place at the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress, will focus on the topic of cybersecurity within the health- and critical infrastructure sectors. The event provides a stage for European cybersecurity scale-ups with a solution relevant to the topic to pitch in front of business leaders and potential buyers, as well as gain recognition at European level. The ECCC Access-2-Market matchmaking event series initiative aims at bridging the existing gap between providers and buyers in Europe, empower European cybersecurity solutions, and pave the way for their access onto the European market.

The ECCC recognises that in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, innovation is not just a luxury; it is a necessity. In collaboration with esteemed partners including NCC-ES, Women4Cyber, the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, and DCA, the ECCC Access-2-Market matchmaking event provides a platform for European cybersecurity providers to pitch their groundbreaking solutions in front of business leaders and potential buyers, as well as create strategic partnerships for their businesses.

The event will take place on 23 May at the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (21 – 23 May) and apply the same thematic focus, being: solutions for the healthcare sector and for critical infrastructure. Consequently, European scale-up cybersecurity providers with a solution focusing on cybersecurity of the health sector or critical infrastructure, are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to pitch on a stage in front of an audience of potential buyers, as well as a European Judging Panel composed of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) that will have the challenging task to select the two most promising solutions within the field for Europe.
