The ECCC is part of Village 3 – Our strong digital Europe. Digital technology is changing the way people live, work and do business. Visitors are invited to step into this new ‘Digital Decade’ and read about how the EU supports cutting-edge innovations, keeps our online world safe, and helps people and businesses build the skills of tomorrow.

As a key player for boosting the European cybersecurity ecosystem, the ECCC implements the cybersecurity part of Digital Europe Programme (DEP), by providing grants and fostering the creation of a European cyber-community.

To date, the ECCC has founded more than 100 projects across Europe under the Digital Europe Programme, for a total of almost €400 million. By the end of 2024, it is projected that the ECCC will be managing an overall DEP budget of more than €700 million.

The topics covered range from cybersecurity resilience, cybersecurity in health, to novel applications of AI, deployment of post quantum cryptography and 5G.
