ECCC held 17th Governing Board Meeting and NCC Network Day in Rotterdam

The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) and its Network convened this week in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, for the 17th meeting of the Governing Board and the National Coordination Centres (NCC) Network Day.

The events took place from 9 to 11 June 2026, with the NCC Network Day held on 9 June, followed by the Governing Board meeting on 10 and 11 June. 

The NCC Network Day provided a dedicated platform for collaboration among National Coordination Centres, fostering exchanges on ongoing initiatives, working group activities, and emerging priorities in cybersecurity. The meeting supports enhanced coordination across the network and encourages knowledge-sharing among national authorities and stakeholders. 

Advancing strategic priorities at the Governing Board

During the Governing Board meeting, participants addressed key strategic and operational topics related to the ECCC’s mandate and activities. The agenda included:

  • Updates on EU cybersecurity policy developments and programme implementation
  • Discussions on joint actions and initiatives supporting cybersecurity capacity-building across the EU
  • Exchanges on national cybersecurity strategies and developments

Together, these meetings reinforce the EU’s coordinated approach to cybersecurity, strengthening collaboration and supporting the development of a resilient and innovative European cybersecurity ecosystem.
