
During these days, the ECCC Governing Board held a joint session with the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). The teams assessed the level of cooperation between the two and discussed key aspects, including cybersecurity skills and workforce development, the coordination in the implementation of relevant cybersecurity legislation such as the Cyber Solidarity Act, strategic market developments, foresight and R&I priorities and community engagement and support, together with the NCCs.
The ECCC Governing Board further discussed other topics including the ongoing and future implementation of cybersecurity projects co-funded by the ECCC, the building of the cyber community with the support of the NCCs, and the ongoing efforts of the board’s Working Groups.
In addition, the board re-elected its Chairperson Pascal Steichen from Luxembourg and Deputy Chairperson Katarzyna Prusak-Górniak from Poland. Their mandates are extended each for a period of three years.
Pascal Steichen, the re-elected Chairperson of the board, said: “It is an honour to continue in the role of Chair at such a pivotal time for European cybersecurity. Together with the vibrant European cybersecurity ecosystem, we will strengthen Europe’s cyber resilience and innovation capacity, ensuring a secure digital future for all.”
