ECCC to be present at the CYBERSEC Forum & Expo 2023, 21-22 June in Katowice

The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) will be at the upcoming CYBERSEC Forum & Expo 2023 in Katowice, Poland, on 21-22 June. The ECCC will have a booth, where visitors are encouraged to engage in meaningful dialogues with representatives of the ECCC and discover more about the organisation’s undertakings and related projects. As a parallel activity to the exhibition and conference, the ECCC is organising its Access-2-Market matchmaking event, scheduled for 22 June. This initiative seeks to address the disparity between demand and supply in the European cybersecurity market, particularly emphasising” Identity & Access Management” and ”Risk Management & Risk Assessment”.

Between 21-22 June, the ECCC will be physically present at the CYBERSEC Forum & Expo 2023, inviting attendees to explore its information booth, which will be present throughout the conference. Here, visitors will gain insights into the ECCC, the European Cybersecurity Community (ECCO) project, as well as the National Coordination Centre (NCC) community, along with the chance to network with like-minded individuals and stakeholders. For visitors in need of further information, engaging conversations, or those simply unable to attend the Access-2-Market matchmaking event, the ECCC booth is readily available to offer the necessary information and assistance.

Hosted by the CYBERSEC Forum & Expo, as a parallel event, the ECCC is organising Access-2-Market on 22 June, together with the Polish Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC-PL), the Kosciuszko Institute, the #CyberMadeInPoland cluster, and powered by ECCO. This initiative aims to provide a tailored environment where the most prestigious cybersecurity providers in the European market can connect with CISOs and corporate leaders. The event will revolve around exchanging information and ideas concerning two prominent cybersecurity topics: ”Identity & Access Management” and ”Risk Management & Risk Assessment”.

Moreover, selected European cybersecurity companies specialising in these areas will have the opportunity to present their solutions to influential business leaders and potential buyers through pitches. Meanwhile, besides engaging with European counterparts, CISOs will be given a rare chance to acquire insights on the latest market trends in their priority areas, enabling them to make well-informed decisions for their organisations.

Alongside valuable networking and matchmaking prospects, the ECCC has invited industry experts with extensive experience to deliver keynote speeches and participate in panel discussions on the two key themes. Last but not least, one of the notable highlights of this event is the presence of a European Jury composed of esteemed European CISOs. The Jury will evaluate the pitches and carefully select the two most outstanding companies to advance as nominees to the final competition ECSO’s CISO’s Choice Award, scheduled for early 2024.

Through Access-2-Market and the fostering of valuable networking opportunities, the ECCC actively contributes to strengthening the European cybersecurity community and market.

This event is open to all individuals interested in cybersecurity and seeking to establish new connections. Being a cybersecurity provider or CISO is not a prerequisite for attendance.
