Today, the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) published a new call for proposals under the Digital Europe (DEP) for a total budget of up to EUR 50 million. The foreseen actions aim to create a more secure, sovereign, and resilient digital Europe.

The ECCC Governing Board updated the Digital Europe Cybersecurity Work Programme 2025-2027. The Centre will contribute, with its updated Work Programme, to the landmark AI Gigafactories initiative and the establishment of Regional Cable Hubs.

On 15-16 October, the ECCC Governing Board held its 14th meeting in León, following the NCC Network Day of the National Coordination Centres (NCCs), dedicated to advancing Europe’s cybersecurity cooperation and strategic direction.

This year, the European Commission is hosting the Interinstitutional Kick-off Event on 1 October 2025 in Brussels and online.
