The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA) of Greece, was designated as the National Coordination Centre of the Hellenic Republic on July 27, 2022. 

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA) of Greece, was designated as the National Coordination Centre of the Hellenic Republic on July 27, 2022. Its primary responsibility lies in promoting both national and European cyber resilience while serving as a key supporting entity for the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) alongside the other members of the National Coordination Centres’ (NCC) network. This is achieved through active promotion of the cybersecurity community, incentivizing investments in cybersecurity, and advancing European and national cyber capabilities. ‌

Mission: In accordance with the provisions of the ECCC Regulation, NCC-EL aims to align its mission and objectives with those of the Competence Centre, establishing itself as a central entity within the national cybersecurity landscape. ‌

Objectives: Provide robust support to the strategic mission of the Competence Centre and the Network of National Cybersecurity Centres. Organize and coordinate the national cybersecurity community effectively, leveraging the operational framework established by the Competence Centre. Foster local and European collaborations among stakeholders, encouraging their active participation in initiatives led by the Competence Centre. ‌

Tasks: Act as the national point of contact for the community, assisting the Competence Centre in fulfilling its mission. Offer expertise and actively contribute to strategic tasks, addressing national and regional cybersecurity challenges across various sectors. Facilitate the involvement of civil society, industry, academia, research communities, and other stakeholders in cross-border projects and cybersecurity initiatives funded by relevant Union programs.
