Quantum Computing & Cybersecurity Webinar, 16 September 2026, Online

The Q-FENCE project will host the first webinar of its Cybersecurity Awareness Campaign, “Quantum Computing & Cybersecurity: What Everyone Should Know,” on 16 September 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 CEST, online. The webinar will introduce the basics of quantum computing and explore its potential impact on cybersecurity and digital services.

Experts from Mandat International, the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics (IITIS), the European Commission’s DG CONNECT, and South East Technological University (SETU) will discuss quantum computing, the potential impact on current encryption, Europe’s preparations for a quantum-secure future, and the Q-FENCE vision.
