NCC-LU’s (NC3) launch event in Luxembourg

As part of its effort to boost European and Luxembourgish resilience in the face of increasing cyber threats, the Luxembourgish National Coordination Centre (NCC-LU) – the National Cybersecurity Competence Center (NC3) – is kicking off its activities with an official launch event to detail three dimensions of its action plan on 30 June 2023 10:00 – 14:00 CET in Luxembourg.

About the NC3

The outcome of two previous departments from Securitymadein.lu, the NC3 has been put designated to act as the National Coordination Centre for Luxembourg within the Network of National Coordination Centres by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).

Consequently, the NC3 works to support the Luxembourg ecosystem in building cybersecurity competence and capacity in a way that contributes to developing the cybersecurity industrial base of the country and strengthens the overall strategic autonomy of the European Union. Its purpose is to strengthen the country’s ecosystem against cyber threats and risks.

Agenda

The event will include an informative section where the NC3 team will introduce attendees to the following dimensions of its plan:

• Support for the country’s cybersecurity community by the NCC-LU, in particular through the distribution of direct aid to security SMEs, as part of the development of applied research and the industrial base in cybersecurity
• Deployment of a Threat Observatory Platform to provide essential information to decision-makers
• Implementation of a Testing Platform to support SMEs in their rise to cyber maturity, providing them with the chance to access and fully benefit from the existing security offers on the market

The event will also include plenty of opportunities for networking with other cybersecurity experts, including a networking lunch!
