Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series — Session 1: Building Cybersecurity Awareness and Defence Foundations for SMEs

The NERO Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series begins with its first session on 26 November 2025, 10:00–11:30 CET. This training introduces the key principles of cybersecurity and practical approaches to strengthen SME defences against common cyber threats.

Participants will learn how to recognise typical attack vectors, manage basic incidents, and understand the role of human behaviour in cybersecurity. The session combines expert input, live demonstrations, and opportunities for discussion. The training is suitable for SME staff, technical professionals, students, and others interested in cybersecurity awareness. No prior technical background is required.

Participation is free but requires registration.

The series continues with two additional sessions on 3 December 2025 and 19 January 2026, focusing on advanced threat detection, privacy protection, and gamified cybersecurity practices.
