ECCO Launches Knowledge-Sharing Webinars to Strengthen the European Cybersecurity Community

The ECCO (European Cyber Security COmmunity) project is launching new knowledge-sharing webinars supported by its ECCO Community Groups, under the auspices of the European Cyber Security Competence Centre (ECCC). Scheduled throughout March 2024, these webinars will cover a spectrum of topics, ranging from highly technical aspects of cybersecurity such as supply chains and cybersecurity tools to investments (for SMEs) and other non-technical areas focusing on skills, the European cybersecurity market, and compliance with European Regulations.

The goal of these knowledge-sharing webinars, initiated by the ECCO Community Groups, is to respond to the rapid evolution of the digital transition both globally and within Europe. They aim to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and potential solutions, particularly addressing crucial and pressing topics within cybersecurity for European society as outlined in the strategic agenda of the ECCC.

Within the ECCO project, different Groups have been created to gather Communities working on specific areas (Roadmapping, Trusted supply chain, SMEs, Human factors, Skills, and Investments), in collaboration with ECSO and the main coordinators of the four Pilot projects on Competence Centres (UniBwM and TIS for CONCORDIA; RHEA for ECHO; UMU and Goethe Uni for CYBERSEC4EUROPE; CEA, CNR, and Fraunhofer for SPARTA). These groups are convening experts across all cybersecurity domains to discuss key topics faced by Europe in cybersecurity today. The results of these discussions and previous experiences are presented at NCCs and a wider public of experts via the mentioned knowledge sharing webinars.

Through the knowledge-sharing among major stakeholders in Europe, including the National Coordination Centres (NCCs), ECCO aims to support the development of strategic planning and roadmaps aligned with the objectives of the ECCC and the implementation of its Strategic Agenda.
