
Discussions focused on the implementation of the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and Horizon Europe (HE), ECCC activities including the development of the European cybersecurity community through the Atlas platform and the centre’s support to the European Cybersecurity Challenge.
The Board was welcomed by Clara Staicu, Romanian Secretary of State for European Affairs within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and received insights into Ukraine’s cybersecurity landscape from Kyrylo Zaporozhets from the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine. The delegates expressed its support for Ukraine and its commitment to continuing the dialogue.
The Network Day of NCCs representatives focused on key aspects of their role in enhancing cybersecurity across Europe, including providing technical assistance at national level for applicants to ECCC calls for proposals or the registration on the ATLAS platform to support the development of the European cybersecurity community.The Network also elected its second Deputy Chair, namely Ruta Apeikyte from the National Coordination Centre of Lithuania.
The next meetings will take place in June 2026 in the Netherlands, with the support of NCC-NL: The Netherlands Cybersecurity Coordination Centre.
