NCC-HR First National Conference, 18-19 September 2024, Zagreb, Croatia

With the establishment of the National Coordination Centre for Industry, Technology, and Research in the Field of Cybersecurity (NCC-HR), Croatia has become part of the European network that builds a strong knowledge community on cybersecurity to enhance resilience to new cyber threats and boost the competitiveness of the European industry.

CARNET, as a public institution within which the NCC-HR operates, is organizing the first NCC-HR conference from 18 to 19 September 2024, at the National and University Library in Zagreb. The conference will focus on two important topics:
 

1. Aligning the public and private sectors with the new regulatory framework in the field of cybersecurity.
2. Financing possibilities within the Digital Europe and Horizon programs.

In addition to representatives from 150 key Croatian institutions and companies, the NCC-HR conference will also feature representatives from the National Coordination Centres of several European countries, who will share their experience, as well as Mr. Luca Tagliaretti, executive director of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre.

Uspostavljanjem Nacionalnog koordinacijskog središta za industriju, tehnologiju i istraživanja u području kibernetičke sigurnosti (dalje u tekstu: NKS), Hrvatska je postala dio europske mreže koja gradi snažnu zajednicu znanja o kibernetičkoj sigurnosti s ciljem podizanja razine otpornosti na nove kibernetičke prijetnje i jačanja konkurentnosti europske industrije. 

Stoga CARNET, kao javna ustanova unutar koje djeluje hrvatski NKS, organizira prvu NKS konferenciju koja će se održati 18. i 19. rujna u Nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj knjižnici u Zagrebu. Cilj konferencije je informirati širu javnost i potencijalne korisnike o aktivnostima i uslugama koje će razvijati NKS u suradnji i koordinaciji s ostalim ključnim dionicima u području kibernetičke sigurnosti. 

Konferencija će se usmjeriti na dvije važne teme:

1. Usklađivanje javnog i privatnog sektora s novim regulatornim okvirom u području kibernetičke sigurnosti.
2. Financiranje projekata u okviru programa Digitalna Europa i Obzor.

Uz predstavnike više od 150 ključnih hrvatskih institucija i tvrtki, na NKS konferenciji će sudjelovati i predstavnici Nacionalnih koordinacijskih centara nekoliko europskih zemalja, koji će podijeliti svoja iskustva u dosadašnjem radu te izvršni direktor Europskog stručnog centra u području kibenetičke sigurnosti, gospodin Luca Tagliaretti
