The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre launches its first Info Day Event

The European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), with the support of ECCO, launches “The Info Days”, a series of events to share information on important European calls and financing opportunities. The first event, in cooperation with the Swedish National Coordination Centre , will be held as a side-event of the Digital Assembly on the 16 June in Stockholm, Sweden, and will offer matchmaking sessions and networking opportunities for the European cybersecurity community to meet and form consortia to answer these EU calls successfully.

The aim of the Info Days is to support public dissemination of Cybersecurity Calls of the Horizon and Digital Europe Programmes in various European countries. The Info Days will also raise awareness on present and future calls, while involving relevant stakeholders and National Coordination Centres (NCCs). This is also an opportunity for the audience to engage with representatives of the official bodies issuing these funding opportunities during its networking, panel, and Q&A sessions.

As a side event of the Digital Assembly, the ECCC aspires to engage more industrial actors by raising awareness of the upcoming funding opportunities. Consequently, contributing to more funding opportunities of European cybersecurity companies, stronger competition, and strengthening of the European cybersecurity market and economy.

The event will be composed of two sessions. The first session will be dedicated to presenting the available funding opportunities for “Increased Cybersecurity” under the Horizon Europe programme and the calls on cybersecurity under Digital Europe Programme. The second session will be dedicated to networking opportunities for European stakeholders, and for interested participants to present pitches. Cybersecurity providers are welcome to present a pitch in front of representatives of the official bodies that issues the funding. Interested participants are requested to submit their pitches to infodayslist [dot] cyber-ecco [dot] eu (infodays[at]list[dot]cyber-ecco[dot]eu).

A large part of the European cybersecurity community will be present at the Digital Assembly, and the ECCC is confident that they would benefit significantly from the opportunity to access funding and exchange ideas and content.
